Welcome to Location19 Don.

I'm delighted that you have joined.  I look forward to a lot of good input about what is happening on Thurston Road and around the 19th Ward.

Now that you are a member when you sign-in to Location19 you can post to the Discussion Forum, Events calendar and Blog section and join any of the various groups to participate in the discussions there.  I look forward to a group being set up for the Thurston Brooks Merchants Association.  That would be a great place for you to post news about what is going on and a good place for merchants and the public to bring questions and report problems.

Being a group member not only lets you post to the group but it will also permit you to receive email notifications from that group about events and other info that may not be posted on Location19 itself.  If you can get merchants to sign up for the Thurston Brooks Merchants Association Group on Location19 then it makes it easy to send out notifications to the group.  You can also easily post documents and pictures as Discussions on the group's Discussion Forum then send links to those Discussions in regular emails so that the emails are kept small.  I would be more than happy to sit down with you and go over any questions to figure out the easiest and most effective way to make use of Location19 in your work.

Please be sure to subscribe to the Daily Email Digest so you receive an update of new activity on the site.

I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call Marian or me at 328-4271.

John
