About 4 years ago, the Marlborough Road Neighbors group came up with the idea of planting some type of flowering tree on the tree lawns - after some discussion we realized that was a bit ambitious but decided that planting something would be time well spent. Sheri Tehan and others organized this and over the past 3 Fall seasons have planted daffodil bulbs with the hopes that they would survive the winter and bloom in the Spring. Some neighbors have added additional bulbs along the way.
Soooo, if you're looking for a bit of Spring take a drive down Marlborough (between Thurston and GPB) and check out our daffodils!! These looked especially nice yesterday when the Easter Bunny made its way to Marlborough - by 7 am approximately 800 plastic easter eggs lined the street. They were filled with candy and little toys! every now and then we heard the 'squeals' of little kids running up and down the street discovering these gifts that were anonymously left on Easter morning!
