Marlborough Road has a LOT of snow/slush still in the road and we've also had a LOT of residential plows clear driveways and leave snow in the road and/or in front of other driveways.
Any other streets having similar problems??

I think they made another run today on Winbourne. One side of the street is looking good, my side, where they cars were parking, is crappy, drat.

It looks like a 'real' plow truck spent time on Marlborough sometime since late Sunday night!! THe street is now clear of the slush/snow - of course, some of it is now in the end of my driveway but the overall street is MUCH better. It would be interesting to know how much money the city spends on sub-contractors for plowing...... we are not getting our money's worth!

As I drove through the neighborhood Saturday, lots of roads were a mess. Apparently they had trouble keeping up with the continued snow. by the way Shawn, the tall Asian kid at the Cinema is our son Casey, raised right here on Woodbine and a Wilson High graduate. His class continues to excel!

Coming home from work tonight after 9 PM, and going in at 11:30 AM, I found the side streets between Thurston and Genesee Park Blvd. in horrible shape as if one side only had been plowed. The other side was OK. (Enterprise on the east side of Thurston was in better shape.) The problem this caused was there were major ruts on the apparently unplowed side, and where people had been parked, the ruts shifted over into the other side, forcing your car in that direction. The result --- you could be forced directly into the path of another car if one was coming in the opposite direction. That almost happened to me tonight when two police cars were coming in my direction. This is a hazardous situation and obviously no action taken, as it appears Margy's comment was 4 hours ago.

I called 311 a few hours ago and asked them to send us some plows.... so far, nothing!
If Penhurst has the same plow truck that we had i know exactly what your street looks like. The plow that was on our street was NOT a city plow.

Snow, slush and muck over here on Penhurst. When we came home from the Cinema Theater last night, we saw a snow plow salting a wet Elmwood Ave. But we arrived home to a frozen bumpy mess on our street.
