League preparations continue at a good pace. At the present we need a vice-president, secretary and treasurer. These are all temporary positions necessary for the league to re-charter. A permanent board of directors will be elected in March 2013. If enough volunteers to form a board do not come forth the league will be dissolved. But, I hope not.

A member of COTS was involved in an attempted robbery this morning on Adams Street. Someone tried to steal their air conditioner out of their window. Luckily no one was hurt and she was able to scare them off.

People deserve a choice and  anyone who attempts to extinguish our choice through the exploitation of NYS Election Laws and loopholes is immoral. It is a direct slap to democracy and what this country is founded upon. Just because you can, does not mean you should. We call this a negative right. With our freedom comes responsibility.

     Many of our freedoms continue to be eroded by despot politicians. Recently my petitions were challenged stating that I and other members of my team including my lady friend and son have committed forgery. This is a political trick! Do not be fooled.

The Week Highlight!

- Goal mapping: the group and I discussed short term, long term, and bucket list. With this activity each person wrote out and personalize their own "vision board". This is something they can reference back to so they don't lose sight of their goals.

-Role playing: We did a lot of practicing before we headed out into the streets to interview local employers each person practiced being an interviewer (themselves), store worker, and observer.

             Today me and peers started making posters about our future/life plans. Then we went to the the cooking room where we made zucchini chips. After that me and my peers attended Rochester Works. Today was a pretty good day.

Today me and my peers went to rochester works . At rochester works we were in a workshop to learn about interviewing skills . The workshop was very helpful . I will definitley think about the skills he taught us during future interviews.

The Highlight of my day was making zucchini chips in the kitchen. I learned more about job interviews and how confident is important for a job interview, at Rochester works. Overall today was a good day at work :).

Today i wrote down my short term goals my long term and my bucket list,Then we went to the garden for about 15 min and then made Zucchini Chips for the first time,Last we went to Rochester Works

 I had a pretty good day. I enjoyed the company of my peers. We learned how to make baked zucchini chips. After that we went to RochesterWorks & Mr. Beiber told us a few new interesting facts about going into interviews.

Today, Me and My Peers had a great day. First, we were cooking in the kitchen with Lisa and try new recipe. We made baked zucchini and it was alright. After that we went to Rochester Works ! and did a interviewing workshop class. I enjoy it and learned many new things and good tips for interviews about what to do and what not to do. Therefore my day went well and i enjoy it.

Today my group and I walked around the 19th ward and went to different job associations. My group went to jobs arounnd the chili ave area. We were looking for job openings for youth ages 14-16 . a lot of jobs didnt hire that young because of legal issues . Commonly they would say theyd love to have young men and women to work at their jobs but the economy is bad so hopefully when more buisness comes then theyll be able to hire young people .

 Today was a pretty good day. Jajuan, Jabari, & myself went to a few businesses on Chili ave. The store owners were pretty cooperative so it made for a quick and easy day. I look forward to doing this more in the future.

Today my group and I walked around in the 19th ward (Southwest Area). The street we were assigned to was Genesee st. We interviewed the business owners. we asked questions like do you hire youth, if no why not ? we also mentioned are they familiar with location nineteen. We received mostly positive feedback from the business owners.
